Years ago, I attended a women’s bible study called Joyful Life at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. In my group, I was in charge of getting in touch with a missionary so we can keep the family in prayer. Throughout the years, I’ve come to know Theresa and her amazing family through always praying for them and keeping in touch. A few weeks ago, I finally met Theresa after years of talking, and she asked me if I can come photograph her daughter’s wedding at Hidden Oaks Ranch…I couldn’t refuse! By the end of the night, my heart was seriously touched and blessed. I couldn’t be any more grateful.
Jeannice and Kevin met at Bible school. Kevin felt led to go to Australia where Jeannice’s parents are missionaries. It was so amazing to hear how Kevin followed the path that was set before him and the way that everything came together! The love they have for God , their family and for missions was a blessing to see. From the guests, to the bridal party, family and of course the couple…you can see Jesus in their lives and how He is constantly working! Jeannice added some personal touches to make her wedding extra special. She wore her mother’s wedding dress! Her flower girl wore her childhood boots. Evan Wickham, her piano teacher, sang and played during the wedding ceremony. They even replicated a pose that her parents did on their wedding against a tree. The most touching part was being able to photograph Jeannice and Kevin’s very first kiss after they said “I do”.
Jeannice and Kevin, I pray that you continually grow in Him and continue to follow the path God has for you! Whether He wants you to stay here, or move back to Australia….I know your life will be blessed.
Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your day.
