Christine Lucaciu of Ink Lemonade is the owner and designer behind IOU Letterpress. You might remember seeing Christine on my blog over the summer! She is a sweet friend of mine from DC. A beautiful mother and friend. Christine came up with the idea for these cards when having her sweet boy Lincoln. They are beautiful!!! If you know anyone who is pregnant, get these cards now! our engagement part 1

It is four days until our wedding day, on April 7th,2013! I am blessed beyond words to marry the love of my life!

I wanted to share some of our engagement photos with you. My dear, sweet and talented friend Jose Villa was so kind to take our photos. I have told Jose I wanted him to photograph me and my future husband for years…and it happened. Jose…James and I feel so honored and blessed that you took these pictures of us and that you spent your day with us. We will forever cherish every single image and also cherish your kind friendship. We cannot say thank you enough for this session! We love you! xo

My little sunshine

Becoming an aunt has been such a blessing…its the best ever! I am a little bias, but my nephew is the cutest EVER! I took a few pictures of him once I moved back to California. I’ll be posting some from when he was 3 months. I just shot his 4 month old pictures on film..and will post that up soon! Isaac has brought so much love and joy in our household, and I can literally stare at him and cuddle and play with him all day long! I love him so much! I thought I’d write him a little something and wanted to share here. xoxo

Dear Isaac,

You are such a blessing to each of us in your family. We love you so much. I’m glad to know that your first “word” was “d”….I know that you just wanted to say my name first before anyone else’s ;). You have such a strong personality already, and it is crazy to see how fast you are growing up! Isaac, I pray that you grow up to have a strong passion for the Lord and that you will want to walk with Him daily. I pray that He will be number one in your life. I also pray that you will become a man that is loving, faithful, gentle, joyful, a protector, a leader, an amazing older brother, and so much more! Besides your amazing parents, know that your aunt Nicky, nana, and I are all here for you in any time of need. I cannot wait to see what is in store for your life! I love you so much and cannot wait until you do get a little older and all the fun conversations we will have and time together! This prayer was said during your dedication and I just want to pray it over you as well. “May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
